Waylon Thornton and the Heavy Hands // Vulture Funk 7”
Do I post too much Waylon Thornton? Is that even possible? No, I didn’t think so.
So anyways, two years ago Waylon Thornton and the Heavy Hands recorded this 4 song EP of riotous blues punk called Vulture Funk. Fast forward to modern day and said EP is seeing a physical 7” release via the New Zealand label Perpetrator Records. Given how generous this band has been in the past by giving away all of their music for free, now should be the time for fans to step up and invite them into their house. If there is any music that begs for the scratch of a needle on wax, it is most definitely the Thornton family’s.
Trust me, there will come a day when stuff like this becomes a prized collectors’ item on eBay. It’ll be out soon so make sure you swoop down and snatch up Vulture Funk on vinyl while you still have the chance!
